I have sat in this block for 7 years and today was the day we climbed out of the coffin.
There was a 10 minute period late in the game where there was constant singing.
My son sits directly opposite , on the family stand corner of the east stand and he heard the singing.
I think we even silenced the singing area.
Phil jones/kun aguero was great.
Also South Stand corner we are here, shag your women and drink your beer.
Hope there is some banter from 109 v liverpool.
Hope you ask us to sing and hope we respond.
Sorry its took so long.

This can't be true - see the thread comparing Etihad to the Swamp!!!! Surely nobody sang today!

On a serious note - glad to hear you enjoyed the singing mate - I'm in the East stand and there is always singing

The Kippax was a rite of passage that you worked your way through. Sat on the tunnel walls in the corner with whichever evil member of the family was introducing you to your one and only club. Then gradualy towards the middle at the front but never behind the first row of barriers. Then backwards (about ten steps a year). Top, left of middle outside steps and closest to police line and away fans being the darkest experience ever. Then across towards the interior tunnels. Then slowly downwards and back towards the corners again. Ended up in the open corner next to the scoreboard/north stand. Known as critics corner by those who stood there!! Now old and grey but still singing now and then!! And only one club = Thats how I knew the ballet of ice score was 4-1 and not 4-0 as featured on the official web site feature. Jimmy Greaves scored earky on beofre Bell, Summerbee, Coleman and Young replied. And then home to watch it on match of the day. Great times

block 220

Well done to my fellow blues behind and around me who around the 80 minute mark started singing the Phil Jones/ kun agurro song, got right into it for that brief 5 mins and nearly got the whole end going at one point....
