Can't you borrow a Typhoon and park it on the GAA at Manchester? The longest part of the trip would be getting back to the airport after the match - unless you left early.

There's a NE Scotland Facebook City group, they have season tickets and may well organise buses down to home games. I met a couple of them in Aberdeen a few years back.
