Perhaps something like this between SS and ourselves.

I've seen that at Gerland (Lyon) too it's fookin awesome when it clicks !!!

ALLEZ Les Bad Gones !!
ALLEZ Les Lugundumes !!!

Could you imagine someone holding a big flag or banner in front of you at the match? He'd get it stuck up his arse.

The Poznan was great for a while and then people decided they were too cool to do it any more.

We have half a dozen songs to the same tune as well.

There are so many reasons why this would be difficult.

Saying that, a block for new singers anywhere else in the ground might be a good idea to get other areas singing (third tier, opposite end of the ground)

thanks to all who have contributed so far , not everyone is putting their block numbers on, but we will mail people back next week to get their block numbers if they haven't added that

especially interested to hear views about the pre-match build up, what gets played, the volume level, whether people feel this is a contributory factor to people singing / not singing

have plenty already on things like stewarding and prices but no so much on this

Feel kinda dirty repeating this from Sarajevo armchair but I think this would sound very good. I wrote it few days ago on "South stand, give us a song" thread:

Here's one suggestion from this armchair one :)..

Doing this as Manchester (one side of stadium) and City (the other) for 7-8 times followed by Jude song would sound awesome

Two words, safe standing. In my opinion nothing else will help, bar the odd game the atmosphere at football is pretty shit. The two options are for City and football to make a real a effort in bringing in safe standing for the thousands of like minded fans who want it or we continue as it is.

I know for one that I stood watching the Dortmund fans thinking that's more like it and wondered if my time watching football live would be better spent. The only thing keeping me coming back is to know that before long I'll be taking my lad more regularly and hoping he enjoys it as much as I once did, unfortunately he will probably never get to experience it as I did.

And surprise surprise there's a drum involved. Really dont understand the hang up people have with this. Yes its shite at Wigan and Bolton, but done properly with songs being sung at the same time youwould not hear the drum.

How much are Celtic ticket prices? Because they seem to have a massive following of passionate and loud fans, the atmosphere against Rangers not so long ago was amazing and made me envious. Are we too poncey now for something like this to happen? The Poznan had nearly EVERYONE up for a while then it became too "silly".

just watched the borrussia game again - for me the biggest factor in the atmosphere they create was having 2800 fans altogether who wanted to sing - to a man thats what borrussia fans did - the drum may help guide them, but the major fact is having true singers together...just like away games for us.
Napoli have a rule at their away games - sit anywhere, 3 or 4 to a seat and sing!! if you dont sing, dont go!
IMO Sought out the singing section / south stand into 3000 true singers and as a matter of course we would repeat the atmosphere create by borrussia!!

Have one big stand for all singers.
Not a half and half split by away fans or the Family stand behind the goal FFS

But TBH as long as we are governed by the sit down, behave and be quite brigade. English football atmosphere is always going to be a poor second to the europeans.

Every time we stood up to sing against dortmund we were told to sit down.
Until the attitude of football changes the atmosphere will be patchy at best

It won't fix the general atmosphere problem but would love to have one section singing Yaya-Yaya-... then going into silence while the other sings Kolo-Kolo-.... and then back again
