Neither here nor there.
Does anyone else feel that if one of us, Villa or Spurs get 4th this year, then we could see a whole change of dynamic in the Premiership?

I think part of the reason why recently the places in the Champion's League are down to the same four teams is because, from what I've seen, a lot of the teams don't put enough effort in to break the top four because they accept that they're not one of the four teams that will inevitably get it, so they just lie down and focus more on avoiding relegation.

But I think if us or Villa or Spuds manage to break the monopoly, then we could see a whole different attitude from the teams next year. We'll see more teams proper going for it.

What does everyone else think?

It's already started, imo. Liverpool are flagging and City have shown everyone of those teams is fallible and beatable, if you have a go at them, rather than just bend over and part your cheeks, which has become the norm for most PL sides in recent years.
