i know this topic has been discussed time & time again but i feel we really need to associate a different version to city, the fast version by supra is awful imo, especially when like yesterday its played for us to sing along to, its far too fast. i personally love the beady eye one. can the club sort this out, get us one we can sing too.

Beady Eye one is worst version ever - so slow.
Supra one has meaning, '99 spirit, the pace we need to be at, can be sang and clapped, love it.

You should listen to Ella Fitzgerald's version. Bring a tear to the eye. The Platters is more of a good singalong version though, doowop stylee.

I couldn't agree more with this. We used to sing it slow but over this years it has speeded up.
It sounds so much better when 40,000 people are singing it slower with passion. The best version of blue moon i've ever experienced was after the game against the rags in the semi-final. Really did send shivers down my spine.
