The list is ordered according to how many of your top 15 made it into the top 100, with ties resolved by how many you got in the top 20.

Congratulations to @PinkFinal who got all 15nominations in the top 100 and to @jamesha and @urban genie who very nearly did.

@Bob Hope got the most in the top 20 with 10, whilst @Marklr did well on both fronts with 13 and 9 respectively.

Ok — so a band like Fleetwood Mac or Sonic Youth or Pixies — when sometimes lead is sung by a woman — or bands like Wussy and X — when there’s like a trade off in each song between a woman and man singing — do those count? If so then that gives me more to vote for.

I think anyone who got 13 14 15 is just a sheep really but on the other hand anyone getting say 0 to 11 is just trying too hard to be different.

I would be for the opposite, and if it's just a ten probably wouldn't bother.

As for guitarist is it Rytham, Lead, Classical, Acoustic split into thier own poll as all are very different at any time.

Do we then do Bass players? The most important guitar player any band?

I'd go with a top 10 for female singers (if it was guitarists, I'd say 20...)

I'd keep points simple, so if you ask for a top 10 to be submitted, 10 pts for 1st place, 1 point for 10th.

I would go with another favourites poll. Personally prefer to vote for what I like e.g. I have nothing by Aretha or Janis in my collection so wouldn't want to vote for them or think about whether to include them.

This is the most simplistic method for me @OB1
To encourage others to vote then if you don’t have ten please submit whether it’s five, eight or whatever.
Simple rule -Favourite female artist - solo , lead vocalist or joint lead.
I’ll do a thread very soon.
Great point earlier - we want this to be inclusive but we could have 50 variables on how this works.
