I am open to ideas for the format for Top Female Artist.
Me too.

But there would surely only be one winner.

great songwriter....it wasn't just all about the werewolves..
Agreed. I like Werewolves, but he wrote so many better songs. Sad that some only know him by WoL. The "Warren Zevon" album featured so many gems: Carmelita, Hasten Down the Wind, Poor Poor Pitiful Me, Mohammed's Radio, Desperadoes Under the Eaves, etc.

It's fair enough you think it's the most overrated album ever. It's all about taste.
I think you maybe had to be there in 67 to understand it's absolute significance. There's an endless list of pro musicians that cite it as THE most important album ever in popular music. For good reason.
After Pepper, anything was possible in pop music.

And it's nowhere near, their best album, but probably most important. I just wish they'd put Strawberry Fields and Penny Lane on it as they were meant too.
where to put them in the track order though?

Penny Lane at the start of side 2 .

Strawberry Fields... maybe after Fixing a Hole

Even with an impeccable list like this the bloody Stone Roses manage to worm their way in ;-)
