David Bowie isn’t a band. Neither is Bob Dylan last time I looked. @RobMCFC can we get clarification please are we talking bands or ‘artists’.

Title of the threads says "Bands and artists". All musical groups, singers, collectives, duos, anybody who's put a record out is welcome. Even Lee Marvin.

This is hard. I have to start by eliminating all bands who don’t have at least three records I really, really like, which takes an awful lot of bands who only did two real records out of the mix even if I like the bands a ton. So it sort of self-selects on bands who have longevity and were reasonably prolific.
