Due to money woes (not worth going into or i might cry!) no season ticket for me this year, I was expecting to be able to pay it over a few months but didnt have the option. The same happened last year but i still ended up going to most home games, just ended up having to live off beans and toast for a while, so i expect the same this season...
But, if i can only afford to go to a few games, where is there a good blue pub in town? I heard off people the Lass O'Gowrie, but every time ive been in its been pretty shite. I do go to chorlton a bit so if there is couple there that would come in handy.
Im just looking for a decent pub to watch the games i cant go to with a bit of atmosphere.

Cheers

The City Centre OSC is run out of the Waldorf, now I know most of the members go home and away every week, but there should still be some who go in there if they can't get to the games.

Thats the trouble being a Blue and pubs full of Blues on home match days....most are at the game....unlike certain club 'fans' who can always been found in pubs across the land at most games....all giving it the 'I used to go' or 'Can't get tickets' spiel.....

Good luck.

The three place I know in Chorlton that show the games are; the lloyds bar, iguana and the nook. All are terrible for atmosphere, though nook is the probably the best of a bad bunch, I pop in occasionally for an away 3 o'clocker. Around south Manchester I'd try that pub in didsbury between the butchers and ladbrokes (the nelson?) or the griffin in heaton Mersey, that's a top blue pub.

All the pubs around town are usually full of rags, I tend to drink round cheadle when I want to watch city, usually a good atmosphere.
