Blue Screen - Bugcode_usb_driver help needed

Try this link first. Doesn't seem to be a hardware problem; <a class="postlink" href="http://code.kliu.org/.etc/7601usbfix/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://code.kliu.org/.etc/7601usbfix/</a> . Try the Microsoft link first to see if their hotfix fixes this, then try the other link on the page to download the utility which will check your machine.

Probably best to have a look at this as well: <a class="postlink" href="http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/165554-usb-driver-general-fix-problems.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/16 ... blems.html</a>

If you don't get any joy from that, try perusing the threads on this page: <a class="postlink" href="http://www.sevenforums.com/gtsearch.php?cx=partner-pub-7156303416008077%3Ahfslqp-2rmq&cof=FORID%3A9&ie=UTF-8&q=bugcode_usb_driver" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.sevenforums.com/gtsearch.php ... usb_driver</a>

You don't have to open up a laptop(most anyway) to get to the hard drive, there'll be a little flap underneath with maybe a couple of screws holding it shut. take it off and the hard drive should slide back and out, just put it back again and with any luck that'll sort it.
