Whats the dividing line between house and old skool?

Suppose it depends how you look at it mate?

Old skool for me is 88-92 with those proper old skool drum loops and usually a dose of piano plus female vocal.

House goes back way before that to approx the early 80s and had a more American sound.

Crack on and post away mate. Let’s see what you’ve got :)

Interesting that you started this thread, ive been going through old vinyl and digitising them to use with rekordbox....was thinking of doing an oldschool mix with stuff from the early 90s
