Good to hear mate, I remember you having shoulder issues, me, I'm kind of in between places atm so not much going on.
Thanks mate, its something ive just got to work around,physio/rehab,even surgery, hasnt 'cured' the issues so i just avoid most overhead stuff now.

I'm sure youll be back when the time is right,i think youre like me,its in the blood.....we're cursed!

My birds dad is similar, no overhead stuff (think it's Polymalgia) and yeah, definitely cursed mate :-p
On a slight tangent of interest....i met Eddie Hall at a book signing the other day,i know its stating the obvious...but what a unit! Great bloke too it seems.

Dont feel like exercising this week,
Ran 10ks yesterday, normally something I look forward to, was more out of a sense of duty than anything else.

Havent been able to bring myself to do my other exercisises.

Need motivation???

Aggghh

Yeah he is and he seems to have progressed very well and really pushing the VERY top guys recently, think I watched a program on him a few months ago, his food bill was HUGE haha.

I'm a fat fucker that loves cake. I want to be a thinner fucker that loves cake.

Is joining a gym the best option or doing stuff at home?

My issues are willpower, and cake.

After years of back problems I’ve taken up yoga to strengthen my core, there’s a 30 day program on you tube I’m in day 23 although I’ve havent done it religiously every day the difference is unreal, I can actually bend down in the morning to put my socks on. The lessons are no more than 30 mins long and the lady is fit who does it, but I cant recommend it enough.
can you link it? had no end of trouble with my back/hips/psoas always sore or tight.

About 4 months in to crossfit. Me and the wife joined a crossfit gym to try something structured after doing stuff on and off with no real plan. Have to say, i fucking hate the workouts but they are doing the trick. Mobility is improving, strength is improving and body composition slowly getting better.

The classes are split in to 2 sections; strength and conditioning. I am really enjoying the strength portion and like the Olympic lifts. Then it's on to the workout which kills me but I'm getting better. I was usually one to do my own thing but motivation was an issue, by paying a monthly fee and being in a class environment it really drives me on to push to my limits. I'm enjoying it and I hit PR in all my big lifts last week :)

Well it's a good routine, no mistake, tried and tested, if you are happy staying on that fair enough, and no probs with swapping out the rows for pull-ups/chins , personally, if you feel biceps are an issue go underhand, and you can always finish of with one set of curls/21's .

Other than that, my own preferred routine would always be Push/Legs/Pull, Mon/Weds/Fri

Mon - Bench - OHP - Weighted Dips
Wed - Squat - Leg Press - Leg Curl/Russian Leg Curl (Personally I always preferred leg press for quads, big ass on Squats)
Fri - Deads - Chins - Curls.

What sets/reps do you do for deads on pull day?
