A lot of people have asked about this recently, so I'm trialling an app called Tapatalk.

    It's available on both iPhone (<a class="postlink" href="http://itunes.com/apps/tapatalk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://itunes.com/apps/tapatalk</a>) and Android (<a class="postlink" href="http://www.cyrket.com/p/android/com.quoord.tapatalkpro.activity/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.cyrket.com/p/android/com.quo ... .activity/</a>).

It costs £1.79 for the full app, which lets you create & reply to topics, edit posts, or it's free for a read only version (Tapatalk RO).

    Cheers,
    Ric

Im relatively new to Android...i've an HTC Desire...and at the moment i just browse and use the forum via the web browser on my phone.

What difference/advantage is there to having a dedicated Bluemoon app?

    Hi Ric,

Am using Tapatalk now on my iPhone. It works brilliantly, would recommend anyone else to use it too.

I think if you're happy using your web browser on your phone then the app might not offer you any discernible benefit. But for some they might find it easier to read as it has a more suitable layout for mobile devices.

If in doubt you could always download the free version, and see if you like it before committing to buy.

Just to stress, it's not a Bluemoon app as such, we don't make any money from it or anything.

One minor problem. YouTube links don't show up on tapatalk, browsed to the tetris chant thread and can't find the vid.

I'll give it a go, cos apps like the Facebook one, do make it easier to navigate.

If you did ever get chance to create a Bluemoon app that cost a little, i'd happily pay for it.

Looks ok. Faster than going through Safari etc.

My only beef is theres no "view active topics" which I always use.

Why is it better than just using the browser?
