Eric Fred Brook (27 November 1907 – 29 March 1965) was an English footballer who played in the outside left position. Brook was also an England international. He was a muscular player with 'one of the fiercest shots in pre-war football and was a good penalty taker. Brook is regarded as one of Manchester City's and England's greatest ever players. He has been described 'as a brilliant roving forward for Manchester City and England' and 'one of the great names of British football'.
In his first season for Manchester City, Brook played 12 times and scored two goals, helping the team to earn promotion to the First Division.
In the 1928–29 football season he made 42 appearances and scored 14 times. His teammate, Tommy Johnson, scored a club record of 38 league goals that season. Brook's 'workmanlike' club form earned him a call up to the England team in 1929 and he made his first appearance for his nation against Ireland. His debut performance for England was described as 'decidedly promising'. Brook went on to play for England a total of 18 times, scoring 10 goals.

Álvaro Negredo Sánchez . born 20 August 1985) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays for Cádiz CF as a striker.
Nicknamed La fiera de Vallecas (The beast of Vallecas), he has played for Rayo Vallecano, Real Madrid B, Almería, Real Madrid, Sevilla, Manchester City, Valencia, Middlesbrough, Beşiktaş, Al-Nasr and Cádiz. In eight seasons in La Liga, he amassed totals of 264 matches and 112 goals.
Negredo earned 21 caps for Spain, scoring ten goals and being part of the team that won Euro 2012.
On 19 July 2013, Manchester City announced the signing of Negredo. The fee was reported as £16.4 million plus add-ons, and he signed a four-year deal. He moved to the Premier League club shortly after teammate Jesús Navas.
On 5 November 2013, Negredo scored his first hat-trick for City, contributing to a 5–2 group stage home win against PFC CSKA Moscow which qualified the former for the round of 16. This was the first time a Manchester City player had scored a hat-trick in the Champions League.
Despite not scoring since January 2014, Negredo finished the season with 23 goals from 48 appearances in all competitions.
83. Paul Moulden 4/28
Paul Anthony Joseph Moulden (born 6 September 1967) is an English former footballer who played as a striker for Manchester City, A.F.C. Bournemouth, Oldham Athletic, Molde, Brighton & Hove Albion, Birmingham City, Huddersfield Town and Rochdale.
Moulden was born in Farnworth, near Bolton, Lancashire. and attended Thornleigh Salesian School in Bolton . As a youth he entered the Guinness Book of Records by scoring 340 goals in a single season for Bolton Lads Club under-15s. He subsequently joined Manchester City, where he was a part of the team which won the 1986 FA Youth Cup. He made his first team debut on 1 January 1986 against Aston Villa aged 18. He made only two further first team appearances that season, both as substitute, but finished the season as top scorer for the reserve team. His first extended run in the first team came in late 1986, and he scored his first goals for the club in a 3–1 win over Aston Villa on 8 November. A broken leg restricted him to three starts in the 1987–88 season. The following season Moulden started the majority of matches, finishing the season as top scorer with 13 goals in 36 league appearances as Manchester City gained promotion to the First Division. However, in the close season he was sold to A.F.C. Bournemouth as a makeweight in the deal which took Ian Bishop to Maine Road.
82. Mick McCarthy 4/30
Michael Joseph McCarthy (born 7 February 1959) is an Irish professional football manager, pundit and former player. Born in Barnsley, England, with an Irish father, he played for the Republic of Ireland on 57 occasions scoring two goals.
McCarthy began his playing career at Barnsley in 1977, and he later had spells at Manchester City, Celtic, Lyon, and finally Millwall, retiring in 1992.
The Maine Road club won promotion in McCarthy's first full season and he finally had the chance to play at the highest level. His first season in the top flight was steady enough as the club reached mid-table, but relegation struck the following year. McCarthy himself would not face the drop though as he moved to Celtic in May 1987
79. Steve McKenzie 4/31
Steve MacKenzie (born 23 November 1961) is an English former footballer who played mostly as an attacking midfielder.
After beginning as an apprentice at Crystal Palace, he signed for Manchester City in 1979 for £250,000, then a record for a teenager. The move attracted considerable attention because MacKenzie had yet to play a Football League match. He spent two seasons at Maine Road, and his second season coincided with the replacement of Malcolm Allison with John Bond and an upturn in fortunes. He gained renown for scoring spectacular goals, most notably in the 1981 FA Cup Final replay against Tottenham Hotspur.
