Great shout.9 Hell on Wheels.
Great shout.9 Hell on Wheels.
It ain’t sci-fi and most of it is pretty low key. The beauty of the series is the interaction between and scheming of some of the characters.GoT sounds like a decent sci-fi epic riddled with the author’s sexual fantasies and frustrations, hidden in plain sight as the normal rape and incest that occurs in a modern take on a 21st century sci-fi morality play.
Having not seen it, but hearing plenty about it, I’d love to say the excited commentary has been about the great story and not how hot XYZ was or how the fucking scene between AB and CD was “awesome!”
Epic CGI battle scenes and fire breathing dragons sounds like R.R. Martin thinks he’s the adult version of J.R.Tolkien for the frustrated millenial crowd. Not my cup of tea!
My bad. Westeros is real, fire breathing dragons live, and there are no cities that blow up or massive battles in GoT!It ain’t sci-fi and most of it is pretty low key. The beauty of the series is the interaction between and scheming of some of the characters.
If you want epic battle scenes and things blowing up, you’ll have to look elsewhere.
Ha love Grand Designs with Kevin McLeod.Confirmation of no1 tomorrow? View attachment 12973
You sure you're or thinking of Bergerac Rob?It ain’t sci-fi and most of it is pretty low key. The beauty of the series is the interaction between and scheming of some of the characters.
