19 of my 20 made the top 100 (Malcolm in the Middle being the lone miss), but on my reserve list I had, amongst others, Red Dwarf, Scrubs, The Good Wife and The Killing USA, none of which appears to have even made the top 130, which surprised me (particularly Red Dwarf).
Mindhunter, Vikings, Chernobyl and Phoenix Nights were 4 that I would have considered, but somehow forgot about

You sure you're or thinking of Bergerac Rob?
Ha ha, very good. Yes, obviously there are a few key scenes where there are epic battles and fire breathing dragons lay waste to land and buildings, but over the course of the 70-odd episodes, I’m sure you’ll agree that most scenes where talky bits between characters with the odd nude scene thrown in.

More than the action scenes, what impressed me was the great mix of locations shooting and subtle CGI. Action scenes don’t work well in books and they are still boring on film or TV if there are too many or go on too long. I thought GOT got the balance just right.

My no.1 was Silicon Valley.

I do think there are better shows out there in terms of pure quality, notably the big hitting dramas, but it is one I really love and enjoy. I've seen it a good few times through, and I could easily stick it on again and dind it juat as fun to watch. It is after all a list of favourites, rather than bests.

It is by the same guys that did the Office Space film, it is a similar type of humour and is based on dialogue and big characters. It is cleverly written, things come together well, there are occasionally decent drama elements and plots amongst the comedy, and it successfuly incorporates a niche setting (the programming industry) that I have no real knowledge of as mainstream enough.

Looks like nobody else may have had it on their list. Worth a look at for anyone looking for something different.

The other shows I had on my list that didn't make it are mostly cac conedies. Modern Family, which yeah ok is pap, but it is funny pap and has stood the test of time and consistency. It is very similar to Friends in that sense, light easy watching, but for me it is better and funnier.

I also had Scrubs in there, underrated clever writing, although with sone annoying bits/people.

Others worth a mention, Marvelous Mrs.Maisel, Still Game, Community (fell off a cliff but first couple seasons were hillarious).

Great show. Worth it for the garage graffiti logo reveal alone. Or just about any scene with Jared. “This guy fucks!”

Had GOT at seven, the early seasons were fantastic, the political backbiting and plotting made for a great watch and although dragons aint my thing the later seasons were very good too. A great cast with just the right blend of familiar faces and new talent. The last series though!!!!! peaked with the battle at winterfell then totally ballsed it up, some painfully dark lighting too iirc.

Favourite character for me was Jorah Mormont, the most "human" of the warrior type, flawed as a man, failed as a house leader/husband, and tagging along as best he could devoted to his secret and unrequited love. Constantly out of his depth, and hoping for the best, a tragic figure really, glad he met the end he did, an honourable death with sword in hand.

Would have liked a few more main characters to have perished too, always makes it more fulfilling somehow, overall well worth a top five place, even number one if the quality of the first three had been maintained.

Everyone seems to expect Breaking Bad to be no1, havnt seen it yet but prepared to accept the views of those on here.

Think I had about twelve in the end, pleased with that as I chose from my heart, I am not ashamed of my failed picks either, though I suspect there might be one or two unique to me, goes to show how different we all are

Forgot about Mrs Maisel. Got better and better I thought. Hopefully they’ll get season 4 out soonish
