I had The Wire at #3 on my list.

A great series and the way each season's story lines differed was exceptional.

I wouldn't go as far as MOST overrated and over-hyped, maybe I've seen more than you :-), but yes for me, it was very good, but not as amazing as some seem to think, obviously it's a matter of personal choice (or easily pleased and lack of class ;-) ).
 
I rewatched both the Wire and GoT recently as my wife hadn’t seen either. The latter has already aged far worse, notwithstanding the significant drop off in the latter seasons.

I never finished breaking bad, got to a point where I didn’t like any of the characters enough to care what happened to them.

Whilst I've already commented that I enjoyed The Wire, but not as much as others on here, the different storylines for each series was one of it's better points. Also in retrospect, was this the first show that devoted a whole series to one investigation (as opposed to cops wrapping stuff up within the hour)?
