Blues Everywhere

The only rags I have seen today are little kids who probably don’t realise the significance of yesterday. The delivery bloke made some comment on my City t shirt about oh loads of blues about today as though we have crawled out from under a rock! They’re fucking mad!
Same here. Saw just a couple of kids in rag tops. About 8 or 9 City tops mostly adults

Not long out of the M6 Toll services where 95% of supporters were Blues. They (the Rags) are an embarrassment to Manchester. Our city will always be associated with our fabulous club. Come on City - the only football team to come from Manchester

I stayed with my brother who lives in London, so I drove down from Mcr on Friday. We got the tube from Kingscross at 11am on Saturday. It was absolutely heaving with Cockney Utd fans. All singing anti City songs in their angin accent and they were generally just being total arseholes.

We managed to ignore them all for most of the journey and they didn’t seem too interested in us. We were just chatting about something completely irrelevant. Then right before we got to Wembley, one came up to us and started giving us loads of shit. Calling us Blue cunts, scum etc and being generally aggressive. Neither of us had even had a drink at this point either, absolutely didn’t need it. My brother put his hands up and walked towards him and said come on then. The guy shit it and walked off quickly down the tube with his mate. I was so happy when I got on Wembley way as there seemed to be a lot more City fans than Utd.

I didn’t see any Utd fans on the way back on the tube, but when we got back to Kingscross, there was a lot outside a pub. Again, one of them saw us wearing City shirts and started blabbing on at us, in his cockney accent. Again, my brother just put his hands up and walked towards the guy, and again, the guy shit himself and ran off. Absolute dickheads.

We stopped over hotel and pub next door were rammed with blues, had a top night voice is a bit croaky today. Got it all to do again next Saturday:-) to be fair there was one Rag in hotel sure he's was a Mancunian as well and was just putting on a strong Irish accent, I'm thinking his night wasn't as good as ours.

unpopular opinion I suspect, but the row in front of me were all on their phones nearly all game and the guy next to me was a yank who put Ted Lasso to shame. I had more of a laugh chatting about the game after with my red mate who actually admitted their support was shite and swore blind he didn’t where a bucket hat. Too blues behind me though thankfully.

As a tourist myself nowadays i Realize it’s bit hypocritical, but I literally don’t understand what some peoples motivation is to go to any game If you don’t bother watching most of it. I’m just probably too old to get it anymore.

but fuck what a great day!

Elated at the result and the game, but fucking angry at the number of tourists and no shows in block 228. As a 21,000+ pointer I treated myself to a nice posh seat on the first row of 228 - half way line - wonderful view - but I was surrounded by half and half scarves, wankers who didn't even get up to celebrate the goals and only two fabulous genuine fans who joined me in a poznan and non-stop singing. And around me 8 empty seats - when I know at least half a dozen real fans who were desperate for tickets. My best mate - with only a match day membership had to sit on his own on the other side of the ground from me. Who are the total wankers who buy and deliberately then sell their tickets? They should be fucking banned.
This is a more modern phenomenon with the eBay generation. Back in the day if you had a ticket for a big event you guarded it with your life, but there are many today who don’t see a problem with buying/selling to make a living, some just to get by in life, others who are just greedy.

Looking at the pictures on TV though, Club Wembley and the seats around the “dugouts” look awful these days too, empty seats everywhere. This should have been packed to the rafters for a first Manchester derby final but the lowest non-covid attendance at Wembley since it re-opened is just odd.

Was wearing my City shirt when taking down the market stalls yesterday ( probably get told of today for that lol ).
A bloke walked passed and said ' bet your proud to wear that today' I said 'always been proud to wear it for the last 60 odd years'lol'.
Think he was implying I was a glory hunter.

Think it was more to do with large segregation gaps to be honest.
