Board games...Are they a thing of the past?

I play some every now and then, for example Articulate and Cards Against Humanity(if it counts) a couple of weeks ago.

Board games are actually undergoing a resurgence. I play several games with my 3 teenagers, including Settlers Of Catan, Pandemic, Dominion & Caverna. To be honest it's one of the few times where we actually interact with each other on a sustained basis in this day and age.

Board Game Geek is a useful resource for keeping up-to-date on game developments and seeing what's in fashion.

Love board games but don't play much anymore, the wife gets a little pissy when she loses. Parcheesi, Chinese Checkers, rummikub and Qubic my faves

Isn't here a version of Risk where you can attack under the board i.e the board is a globe so you don't have to attack bordering countries, you could have say Australia attack uk?

!RISK" the best board game by far, ordered it for Chrimbo and played it the other night as a trial session with kids and their partners - they loved it and have been googling risk strategy in readiness for the Chrimbo day get together
Anyone else get this? It's not on any lists so far
I've never played the board game, but I have an iPhone version which I enjoy.

I wish they would die out, I am forever being bought Manchester City Monopoly for Christmas or birthdays, i've had 4 or 5 of them in total, given 3 or 4 away over time, I wonder if Santa will bring one this year... I've only ever played 1 game of it as well.

There will be a game or two of something tomorrow methinks.

Which players are Old Kent Road?

Dzeko? Mills? Nasri?
