My dad is in the later stages of Alzheimer's, it's an awful illness. His family have my sympathy.

I won't pretend that he's my favourite person but I genuinely wish him well. As has been said by others it's a horrible illness.

Terrible disease. Puts a strain on families too. Seems to disproportionately afflict old footballers from back in the day.
