He's not the first referee to suddenly give up, since there is no VAR this season, there's no reason right now to quit, I'm thinking more that someone has proven some wrong doing, and he's had no choice. If rumours are true, we have some form with this sort of thing, and he's f**ked us over a couple of times.Yeah, he's been acting the **** for years and the PL don't want too big a drop between pre and post VAR.
I doubt at 32, as a referee, he's earned enough to retire early.
