Les McDowall was in charge when I first went to Maine Road, so I've seen f*ckin hundreds of managers, some of whom were total idiots.

For me, no City manager could ever top Joe Mercer as a person. He was a genuinely wonderful bloke who made time to talk to the fans.

Joe was an absolute gem of a human being who was stabbed in the back by the lunatic Allison (Lavinda NEVER forgives).

Looking at achievements, Bobby is right up there with Joe. As our manager, I fully expect that he will outdo Joe (provided some of our resident wankfesters don't drive him away).


Mancini for me.
