....surely our signings must be indicative that he is expected to win the Prem this year, plus a minimum of QF in the Chumps (if not further...).

Thoughts?

Being 9 points behind wont be acceptable for sure. I think 1st or close 2nd, a cup and at least QF in CL.

When we started this project proper (Mancini's first full season in my eyes) i accepted patience would be the order of the day, we have exceeded ourselves.

I still say next years we should be wanting to win it, this season i see as a consolidation of our new position in world football as well as making a proper team, not individual superstars which we all worried may happen, big tip of the hat to bobby for that.

Top 2 with a genuine title challenge, knockout stage of the CL, maybe a domestic Cup. The CL is not an easy competition to just breeze into and make the QF.

go for the title this year, can't see why not and
if we just miss out we'll get second. Get passed the
group stages in the champions league as well, it's our first year
in the competition and we just need to cement ourselves
on the european map. another domestic cup trophy would be
good but it's not essential. the season after this one though i expect
us to be picking up the title, another cup and going to the QF/SF of
the CL.

As.with any cup competition, its the luck of the draw. Were we to get to the quarter final of the CL, people that are still unsure about little old City will sit up and take notice.

For me, the Premier League will come down to how we do away at United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool. We will still have the odd slip up when we least expect it but those four results away from home will have a major bearing on where the title ends up.

Depends really because when you think about it if we got knocked out of the CL early on our title challenge would be stronger. But of course I want to win every game
