Ben Haim, Ball and Bojinov have been replaced by Bellamy, Bridge and Given in our 25 strong UEFA A Squad. Curiously Jo is still included despite his loan deal to Everton. In effect this means that by the deadline on Sunday they were still not sure Jo was leaving and decided that the chance of his staying and playing was a better bet than Boj returning to match fitness. That's it now, we have had our 3 changes and no others can be made other than from the B List of club trainees. See our squad via the following link:

I think this could turn out to be a very bad decision.

Thanks for informing me of this, Why Boj isn't included is a real mystery as he should be fit in next few weeks

Re: BOJINOV DROPPED NEEDLESSLY FOR JO FROM UEFA SQUAD

I can see your point, but getting those three in the line up is also important. Until Boj actually plays a game it's hard to commit to him over the others.

Time will tell.

We don't know exactly when he's going to be back though; last year the date kept being put back until they said it was going to be next season. It'd be better to put someone who we know is fit to play in the squad imo. Not doubting his quality at all, just a practicality issue.

Petrov's in there though.
If you gave me a choice of Boj or Petrov returning to full fitness I'm afraid as good as I think Boj is it would be Petrov every time.He is the best left footer in the league for me and we have missed him big time.

I think Boj will be a class act but he needs to prove fitness and maybe this is through the league team and not through the UEFA.

There are still some un answrered questions but I too hope that he comes good as I really like the guy.

I agree but Boj is expected back sooner than Petrov though right? Weren't there some rumours a while back that Petrov's injury was more serious than we thought, or was that just a wind up?

Seriously that is a Joke!!! I really can't believe it, what a fuck up.

B List is for acadamy players you can call any of them up anytime.

Just sounds like City are playing it safe with Boj.
