Avram Grant is threatening to play weakened sides in premiership games. Portsmouth still have to play Spurs and Villa (I think), so it could be easy wins for those two and lots of goals into the bargain. It is beyond out of order. Fuck off Portsmouth.

dont blame them!

its the premier league that want fooking for docking them nine points now,they should of either carried them to the championship if they got relegated or have them docked next season if they stayed in the premiership.

some idiot bigwigs decided instead to ruin what could of been one of the most exciting ends to a season for relegation,4th spot and title.
 
And in return the FA can deregister them, and turf them out of the FA Cup and reinstate the team they knocked out! Two can play at those kind of games. And the Football League can refuse their registration for next season so not just Bollox, Pam, Arrivederci, Sayonara, and stuff 'em!

No, I've got less and less sympathy with them. They knew the rules. Crooks and clowns. It was put to them that what they were proposing would be unfair on certain other clubs in the Prem. Their response was pretty dismissive. Because they think they have been treated unfairly, then(they said) didn't care whether others suffered the same fate. But the others didn't spent millions on money they never had and don't have any recent memories of winning the FA Cup to tide them over.

Lets not get carried away Pam, they will try their best bit it probably not be good enough to pick up points against those two clubs no matter who they put.

They are in the semi finals on the Cup , have had a wretched year admittedly off the field they have made poor choices that have cost them dearly and have a few wacky supporters but in the main the fans and the club as a whole do not deserve to be in the position they are in.

I would sooner back Portsmouth to get something against the likes of Villa and Spurs than a Burnley or a Hull or even a Wigan in the run in to the end of this season.

Agree, most people who do these results predictors for the run-in would have Villa and Spurs down for 3 points against Portsmouth regardless.
It's still in our hands, we should be worrying about City, not Villa, Spurs and Liverpool.
 
I wouldnt take too much notice of this, its more of a toys out of pram sulk than a statement of intent. Avram Grant has always struck me as a honorable man and not a bad manager. He has done pretty good considering the shite raging on around him and he hasnt had any pay for much of the time while he has been there. Contrast that to greedy bastard Sol Campbell suing them for 1.7 million. The players will want to play the best they can as most of them will be sold so I dont take any of these threats seriously.
