Got gold membership this season(over 2000 points) and was surprised to get tickets for Bolton and Spurs .Is this a sign that the away fixtures are now being affected by the recession or something else behind them not selling out.Sounds stupid but are there fans now that will not go as much because we have won a trophy at last.Found this to be the case with some of my Hearts mates after they won the cup in 1998.Die hards until that day, pick and choose their games now. Both games sold out last season at the 3000 mark.

A lot of peoples pay day is 15th of the month!

Also shocked Bolton hasnt sold out, sold out mega fast last season but judging by the people there it may of been people who couldnt go to the cup final. Spurs hasnt sold out and personally I dont think it will sell out, there are no trains which get you there in time for kick off, so were staying over.

not suprised Spurs isn't sold out at those prices

thought Bolton would have sold out though

at 53 quid a go for spurs is it that suprising it hasnt sold out.

i love to see city take the full allocation everywhere, but for a normal league game, live on sky, then it is easy to see why it is getting the swerve.

to my mind away fans play a big part in football, but with the daft ticket prices and rising cost of travel away fans will soon be a thing of the past for many clubs.

Tottenham went on open sale last year and may not have sold out, Money with more and more games easily viewed on internet and satelitte tv is the big issue, Go to the pub have 5 pints enjoy game for £15 or travel to London buy tickets food beer and spend £130 plus.

Not surprised Spurs hasn't sold out yet. There's plenty of time left though. I'd expect Bolton to sell out at some point though.

I just bought tickets for Bolton and spuds this morning. The Bolton allocation is almost sold out but plenty left at spuds (so the man at ticketing told me).

Another point, going by the first 3 away games,Charity Shield included, the Platinum membership could be a waste of £50.If all the away games follow the same pattern you could see a lot more Gold memberships next season.
