I've returned with haste to where my love does lie
Just thought i'd let people know that the Bromilow arms is now closed and boarded up. Its the pub that is 5 minutes walk from the Barnstormers and is a designated away fans pub. Every year its full of City fans so i thought i'd save people a wasted journey. Heres some pics below of the pub i mean if your still not sure:

It still looks better and more inviting than Mary D's

The police made us go to the barnstormers last season, beehive was full. Probably just gonna go there this season, fairly cheap too!

Barnstormers up the road has re-opened though - I am sure we will get a warm welcome in there!!!

They sometimes make the Barnstormers home fans only. Wouldnt be suprised if that happens more often now.

Went to the Bromilow last season before and after the match but noticed there was a For Sale sign up so I'm not too surprised at the news. The Barnstormers was taking away fans last season.

The Barnstormers does usually take away fans but on occasion they make it home fans only. With the Bromilow closing they might consider making it home fans only more often. The Barnstormers is popular with Bolton fans so they might not want it effectively becoming an away pub because away fans go there now the Bromilow is closed.

I'm pretty sure the Beehive is good for away fans - never been to Barnstormers but I have a feeling it's just for the home fans.

shame, landlady, tracy, i think said they were leaving but didn't say when, was hoping it would still be open, bloody handy for parking too
