Bolton - game called off 27/4 due to players still not paid (p13)

On the news now that they have until 1pm to prove to the council that they will have enough stewards for Saturdays home match, if they can't the Safety Certificate will be withdrawn and the match cancelled. Not looking good.

Is there even such a thing as enough stewards when Milwall are concerned?

The rot set in when they sacked Big Sam. They wanted more attractive football but instead went up & down through the divisions.

He wasn't sacked, nor did he leave because we 'wanted more attractive football.'

He left because he wanted to challenge for the Champions League after we'd just missed out to Arsenal but there wasn't a budget to do so.

A very lengthy note from the chairman /owner Ken Anderson on their website.

Fascinating read. Looks like they may make it passed the weekend but whatever you think of Anderson they are in a mess and have been for years. He took over with the club £250m in debt and with practically no assets left (either sold or charged to the lenders).

Most of it is old news regarding the previous regime but as you say it is fascinating.

To be fair to him he does publish regular messages which give an insight into how the club is run.

He probably gives away a bit too much sometimes though.
