Our friends from up the M61 seemed to have slipped under the radar this season as there is no dedicated thread for them,so I thought I would start one.
Obviously it has been a traumatic close season for them,as they came close to being ejected from the EFL.
However they were rescued and started the season-albeit on minus 12 points, due to going into administration.
They have yet to win a game this season and are currently 21 points from safety(although they have a couple of games in hand, they have an abysmal GD).
So it looks like it will be League Two (4th Division in the old days) next season.
And should we ever have to play The Trotters again(unlikely for along time unless we are drawn against them in a cup competition) be aware of this.
If their inbred hillbilly fans start giving it the WWYWYWS malarkey.
They are currently averaging 10,000 home attendances, whereas when City were in Division Three we averaged over 28000 per game. On other words we had almost 3 times as many attending home games in a similar sized stadium.
WE WERE HERE WHEN WE WERE SHIT.
