I do like him but he’s very much a one trick pony. Borat should’ve been retired.

I look at it from an artistic point of view over business. Irvine Welsh is a favourite author but he's done too much with the original Trainspotting characters.
Borat 1 was one of the funniest films I've ever seen. As mentioned, I had to bury my head in Ms Peoffrey's shoulder as him and Azamat had the row over the Baywatch Annual yet I can normally laugh at anything. It broke my taboo which is the sign of good comedy.

It’s not like the old days where a film goes straight to video because they are shite and nobody wants to go to the cinema to watch.
They are being produced by Amazon and Netflix so stands to reason that this is where they will be shown.
He has talent IMHO, no question, but apparently lacks the determination/will to seek out roles other than the ones he flogged decades ago
Borat was funny at a time but in today's world, I find it increasingly repugnant - the shock comic setups, it's a bit cliche now and worse if stereotypes of Kazakhs are still involved
I prefer his Ali G persona much more, where he simply plays a buffoon rather than mocking a people/country

Those at the top of the tree are as useless and corrupt today as they have ever been.
Good on him for highlighting it.
