Tbh, your logic is twisted.
The away rule - as stupid as it may be - is looking at BOTH legs (by comparison), not only one.
Chelsea had their chance to score more than 1 away goal and didn't.
The rule comes into play only AFTER a tie is level after 2 legs.
It's the rule that has the twisted logic. The rule does not simply decide outcomes; it influences the whole tie from the very start. And Chelsea cannot go through on this rule in this tie - that's nothing to do with my logic. If Atletico score first at SB, they have a significant, unearned advantage. Daft rule, should have been binned a long time ago.

Has to be the Foden-Jesus-Sterling front 3 for me. It's exactly what we need in these big European games, absolutely incessant pressing, Jesus gives us so much control in midfield when he drops in, he carries the ball so well, Sterling's movement is second to none, there's loads of pace for the counter, and Foden has the spark that gets the team going.

Tore Real Madrid apart and would do the same to anyone.

I think the team picks itself - Ederson; Zinchenko, Dias, Stones, Cancelo; Rodri, KDB, Gundo; Foden, Jesus, Sterling. If he goes with Mahrez, I'll be beyond disappointed. He'll probably try to force Bernardo in, but it would be a mistake IMO.
The only mistake is KDB being given the divine right to start, sends the wrong message.... Bernardo is one of the first names on the team sheet at present, Kev has enough time to gradually force the issue, it shouldn’t be a given!

Chelsea can't go through on away goals with a 1 nil away win, you are correct. Not sure why you say it's an advantage to Atletico though?

Why do you say this, Surely he does 'incessant pressing' as well as anyone?

I picked the same XI but with Bernardo in for Kevin, so curious to your reasoning. I do think Pep will probably agree with you.

Quite right. KDB was out of sorts even before the injury. His place should be earned, not automatically granted.
