Not a fan of both our right backs playing when's there's 4 players on the bench capable of playing left back. Surprised to see that forward lineup, that's probably currently our best lineup I just didn't expect Pep to go with it, jesus very unfortunate to miss out.
What's he doing with the bench though? 5 defenders and 2 keepers? In what scenario does he think we might need that?
Even if he doesn't plan on using them, surely having a Doyle or Palmer on the bench instead, they'd be a higher potential for them to get on ahead of Carson being needed? I'd say it's more likely we are winning 3-0 and can afford Doyle 10 minutes to rest legs than for 2 of our keepers to get injured in the match. Bizarre, really bizarre. It seems like something managers do when they are trying to make a point.
