Think there is zero chance he will play anything other than a very strong team with subs around the hour mark if things look comfortable.

He doesnt make substitutions in that way

Yo O’s M, I get your drift but it really doesn’t ‘have’ to be Cancelo over Walker and there isn’t a best 11.
The selection is and should always be the 11 most appropriate players to play in the system the manager chooses to adopt to best deal with the opposition when taking match fitness and form into account.

I hear you and obviously you have to take every detail into account.

However, my opinion is to go with the strongest team in terms of attacking, enabling us to wrap up the tie quickly.

Any team chasing a game against the side I've suggested will struggle enormously.

Over the years I have learned to never underestimate a German team being the underdog in a knock out game. And to always expect something to happen that can be labelled as ‘typical City’.

BMG played a very good game last Friday. Losing that one was totally against the run of play and they shud’ve won 6 or 7-3.

The players better be fully aware of the above and the fact who knocked us out in the CL over the last few years. If so we will go through. For sure.

Well I can only judge them on their game against us. I thought they were pretty poor and I doubt they'll improve, being on a downer already at 2-0 from the 1st leg. I expect at least the same again, irrespective of what team we put out.
Maybe ur right not to underestimate a German team, but, not at the expense of underestimating this current City - we are a class above them.

gladbach are on a rotten run, heads seems to be down with manager on his way in the summer. Should be nothing less than a comfortable win but with us in the champions league, nothing would surprise me.
