from UEFA regulations: "...37.01 Home clubs must make at least 5% of the total approved UEFA capacity of their stadium available exclusively to visiting supporters, in a segregated, safe area. In addition, visiting clubs are entitled to purchase 200 top-category tickets (unless otherwise agreed by the two clubs in question) for their VIP supporters, sponsors, V – Match Organisation 35 etc., but they are not obliged to take the full allocation (see Articles 16 and 23 of the UEFA Stadium Infrastructure Regulations and Article 19 of the UEFA Safety and Security Regulations). 37.02 Visiting clubs which have requested an allocation of tickets for the whole or part of the segregated area may return any unused tickets to the home club without payment up to seven days prior to the match, unless otherwise agreed by the two clubs in writing. After this deadline the visiting club must pay for the whole allocation, irrespective of whether all the tickets have been sold. 37.03 The home club may reallocate tickets returned or not requested by the visiting club provided that all safety and security measures (as mentioned in the UEFA Safety and Security Regulations) are respected and that such tickets are not reallocated to supporters of the visiting club. 37.04 The official UEFA representatives and at least 20 representatives of the visiting club and its association must be provided with complimentary top-category seats (and associated hospitality) in the VIP sector..."

So you'll possibly only be looking at 2.300 plus VIP only, if 46.000 is their capacity for international matches. I can recall Arsenal were given 2.700 for Schalke away and 3.300 for Dortmund away in recent CL matches...

Anyone expecting 5000 is going to be very disappointed, we now hold 54000, but we won't be giving anyone 5000 for a CL game, nobody will get more than the new away section of 3084.

I think it will sell out on fairly high points, probably 10000+, I expect details will be out tomorrow, to go on sale from Monday.

What time train you on mate? I'm on the 8.55 from St Pancras.

flying to amsterdam then by train to monchengladbach .
anyone know if is it better to book the train in advance , and can you get an open ticket?

Depending on the number of tickets we get im not sure ill have enough points to get a ticket. What are the chances of getting a ticket once there? Are there normally many knocking around from blues who hadn't been able to travel?

Been to most euro aways. And always lots of spare tickets between blues knocking around.

cheaper is you book in advance and quicker to Düsseldorf via Utrecht on the ICE train. yes you can get an open ticket but approx extra 60 euro
