Sounds rheydt is organised with the free shuttle buses leaving regularly.
Think we will head there about 5ish will be in Old town prior to that

Just arrived in Düsseldorf with a group of us. Wonder where everyone is going on the beer? Any suggestions as we aren't too sure where to go.

Aldstadt apparently, that's where we are heading tomorrow. whiles you are there can you check out the Rathaus Hotel, see if its as good as it sounds!

You can't go wrong in the altstadt. The Germans don't call it the longest bar in the world for no good reason. Plenty of choice, Ferdinand Schumacher is a decent place to start off.
