They just accepted the defeat and played to make it as few as possible. Played on the break to try and make anything out of our mistakes.
Bit like Arsenal did on Sunday.

Thoroughly professional performance that for a away leg of a Champions League tie. Cancelo was on another level tonight, thought everyone did their job, even Ederson after sitting on a deck chair for 92 and a half minutes and made a crucial save late.

Finally a Aguero sighting, hopefully he can build for the rest of the season from here.

We are a machine. A perfect balance and we looked geared for the first time to win this tournament.

Very good controlled performance against a team that was poor tbh . Good to see. Kun back as we will need him if we progress . Liked the look of Zakaria in patches but don’t if there is any truth in us being interested. Portugal look to have an abundance of great players .
