Excellent professional performance.

Very controlled and assured without being extravagant.

Fair fucks to Mahrez. He really needed that goal and played well today. Needs to push on now and be as good as we all know he is.

Zinchenko is becoming ridiculously good. He’s going to be the new Zabaleta imo.

Otamendi was very good. Marshalled the defence really well and won everything today.

Pressure on the scouse ****s now. Let’s see how they handle it.

I bet we didn’t anticipate Bournemouth playing like that in our game plan. They were embarrassing for a side at home who are supposed to be able to play football. We’re going to be playing a lot of teams who park the bus before the end of the season- we found a way today but I’m sure Pep will be preparing the team for similar games

A very good performance today, I think that Bournemouth were the most defensive side that we have come up against, and that is saying something. Zinchenko & Gundogan were excellent. The next 3 games will be the same , so we will have to keep looking for a way to these teams open.

I'm assuming Bournemouth will be celebrating that as a victory this evening, going off the way they played. I had hoped Mahrez's goal would have forced them to play some football, but they were obviously happy to try and hold onto a 1 nil defeat.

Far from a classic but a win's a win. Maybe a high score today would have sent a message to them scouse f**kers and put the pressure on them but we got the 3 points, that's the main thing.

The win has sent them a message, irrespective of score line.
The message is, you NEED to win tomorrow.

From reading their board, their supporters seem to be divided between embarrassed that they couldn't muster an attempt on goal and relieved that they never took a proper caning. Most seem to acknowledge that we were superior to a degree that the scoreline does not reflect.

So made up for Mahrez. We all knew he had the quality to be here but it's obviously difficult to get into the rhythm of things with being constantly in and out of the team. Especially with the likes of Sane and Sterling ahead of him. He could be a major asset heading into the remainder of the season.

The main message we’ sending to Liverpool is we are winning despite major injuries and have opened a 2 point lead.
