Bournemouth (A) Post Match Thread

Sterling was amazing near the end, bit wasteful but still very dangerous. Mahrez is a bit weird this season, he’s not been good by any means but you look at his stats and they look ok. He missed the pen at Liverpool but he’s now got us 6 points with goals at Tottenham and Bournemouth.
And Watford away, got the winner and an assist in a 2-1 win

Finishing could have been better, but in the end we dominated and gave Bournemouth nothing. Otamendi and Zinny were fantastic.

Great game management , never looked like conceding , a win is a win , criticised Merlin in the 1st half , but he was immense for the rest of the game , just controlled the middle of the park along with Gundogan , we have technically brilliant players but they dont half put a shift in. League Cup in the bag and six league points , its been a great week just hope the injury situation isnt too bad.

Gundo, Ota, Raz and Zin were all really good, I thought. David Silva also looked more and more like himself in the 2nd half.

dont know who the commentary team were but throughout they kept saying how well bournemouth were doing and how they are still having a go right till the end..............

Love it when shithouse teams who put 11 behind the ball end up losing! Thought we played really well despite what some weird people in the match day thread were saying. When faced with 11 defenders its hard to make that final ball.

Sounds like David silva had a better game.

Class.

Scorline certainly not a reflection on the performance. Zinchenko.. wow. He’s looking like the real deal. Dare I say it but I actually think he’s better than Mendy.. more rounded at least and more Pep like. A brilliant technician.
