Bournemouth away, 1,272 tickets starting at 22k

Why what difference will it make knowing how many went where

Because people have questions with the way it is now, if they were transparent, we could see exactly where they go and it might make it easier to swallow for some.

I've got about 16k points, over the last 5/6 years or so i can count on my fingers the games i've been able to get a ticket for and choose to miss for whatever reason, mainly euro aways when money is tight, then there's a handful of games a season i can't or struggle to get a ticket for, namely United away, Bournemouth etc all the rest though, i'm there.
I buy platinum, im on all the cup schemes etc so i go to the vast majority of games yet every year i'm falling further and further behind with no explanation as to why.

The only people that are gaining more points than me are people already ahead of me anyway meaning i can't possibly be falling behind as i'm already behind them to start with, i know most people now just buy and sell if needs be, but there will be 1 or 2 ahead of me that won't, so whilst it's minimal gains, i will be very slowly catching a handful of people, i should not be falling behind yet as i say, i've edged closer and closer to the edge of the cut off criteria for more and more games.

The only explanation is less and less tickets going into general circulation to be bought via the points system, i'd like to know why that is and where those tickets are going. How many people can simply buy more loyalty than me each game with corporate tickets, how many are going to supporters clubs where some guy on 6k points gets a ticket for the big games they want to go to because he knows somebody, how many are being given to sponsors for them to hand out to anybody etc

sure but how do they know what a "fan" is going to do once he has bought the ticket. I have said the club should go on the rouge ticket site and buy the tickets back, check the source and ban that seasoncard holder.

I don't think these tickets on rogue sites at inflated prices cone from a seasoncard holder happily sat at home staring at there ever increasing points tally. There are too many of these spare tickets knocking around for that to be the case and invariably when you buy them they tend to be seats together. I know that cos i used one of these sites for a game i didn't qualify for albeit begrudgingly.
Looking at the example below they have 21 tickets available in the city end in groups of 8, 9 or 4. The only way they get that is if the club give them direct or a corporate given a bunch of tickets passes them on.
I cannot believe that when demand is so high for this game that 21 random people bought tickets with no intention of going and all passed them to the same company.

People who have 20000 points have them for a reason cos they've trawled all over the country for the last 15 years watching some pretty poor football. I find it difficult to believe that after all that effort they've now decided at a time when were playing the best football we've played in years and when we are in with a realistic chance of winning trophies they've suddenly decided to jack it in.

The issues for me quite clearly lies through the club or the corporates.

you make a good point.

At last someone has highlighted the culprits
Manchester City Football Club
Take your blinkers off, it is so obvious to anyone who goes to the big matches away from home, there are rows of overseas supporters, sat next to each other
As Didsbury blue suggest, they would be scattered all over the place, if they were buying off loyalty point holders.
The club are trying to spread our fanbase at the expense of our core support.
And unfortunately its going to get worse.

Spot on and down right disgusting what the Club are doing. I have seen it for the pas t few years, half and half scarfs in our end at the swamp not knowing who our players are, it will be the same at Bournemouth. One day it will KO when they cheer an opponents goal.

A few years back I suddenly stopped being able to get tickets for the derby and the odd bigger game as the points had suddenly increased. I came on here and not many had much sympathy. The reason the allocation to normal seasoncard is slowly being chipped away is because there's only ever going to be a few hundred affected each time it happens so there's never going to be a major outcry.

Well today my Dad dropped out. I'm only above him on points because he won't get on a plane, so doesn't do the europe games, 67 years he's been watching us. No problem if 1200 people going to Bournemouth have more points than him. But I doubt it. I'll have a chat with him on Saturday but my ticket may be going back to the club.

Which will play right into the clubs hands. Joe Bloggs from Beswick gets banned hence leaving another seat free for some JCL gloryhunter

Last few posts on here have been spot on.
Hope we don't hear too much about points whores as this keeps happening for big games the rest of the season. Finally people are getting it
