Yes, because anyone with half a brain could see the rot starting to set in months ago. . .

You've answered your own question there! Mr P not P has a different pair of spectacles to the rest of us. Will be very surprised if we win today without Ya Ya. That midfield without him is one of the most spineless and physically weak in the Premier League. Best hope is that KdB is able to hit the ground running, but I've seen us fold at so many small town Johnny grounds against limited but tenacious opponents down the years, that I expect a draw is the absolute best we will manage today

We haven't been compromising at all , we have been well below what we can and should have delivered.

You could argue about the FA Cup and all that jazz but we went into half time in that game all square before it went tits up in the second 45.

A couple of astute changes at half time in that game and a change to formation and it could have been the old backs to the wall replay but we all know why that didn't occur.

We have been weak led by a weak manager this season that is all with players and manager having their minds on the future and not the present.

Totally agree mate , there is no unity or rolling up of the sleeves, will do some of these "stars" good to be playing Thursday and Sunday's again, they need a fucking wake up call regardless of who the manager is.

Do the fans deserve to be buggered about on Thursday and Sundays too? I don't think it will do me much good.

They certainly are not playing for the fans though, the poor little darlings are being treated horrible off those nasty peasant fans.

It's a small price to pay to make these shithouses pull there fingers out- I include the management in that aswell.

Players want to win trophies not fight for 4th spot.

It might have motivated us once, but it doesn't now. Need a captain and leader on the pitch but he's injured

I know there's a lot of cynicism about the players, but I don't share it. It's mis-management from the top. Players like Kompany last season after the double were lazy in my opinion, but not this. This season we have carried on playing players who had reached their sell-by dates and that has undermined everything. The saving grace, and it's a huge saving grace is that MCFC have employed Pep for next season. The downside is that Spurs and Leicester are fighting it out for the big prize.

Spurs fans on their way to Anfield, and players, must be incredibly excited. That buzz has been absent for sometime at City. We've been in limbo for ages but at least we know it wont last

Perhaps so but no matter how much they might dislike playing on Thursdays and Sundays, I dislike it more so I don't wish it on us.

They need humbling some at the club, it's throughout the club not just the players, they think by saying "we fight to the end that that's enough" . They believe there own hype , we purchase the wrong type of players, I honestly couldn't give a shit what the result is today- they deserve all the shit that gets thrown at them.

Worrying about playing Bournemouth - let that sink in for a minute.

Win a title, play shit the following season, Win a title play shit the following season, then totally fucking implode the season after that.

The mentality is all wrong, and this manager is just the fucking icing on the cake- and Txiki through his love for Pep has neglected the hear and now for two seasons.

Bad management .

that is the reason why we did not go and purchase the players needed to regenerate the squad completely imo. The owners knew they had Pep nearly signed and why allow MP to rebuild the squad. It is a high risk strategy and one that has allowed us to not be competitive this season in the league,
