Still get shudders thinking about the Bournemouth home game in 89..... Machin defending a 3 goal lead and conceding a 96th minute penalty for a 3-3 draw..... typical City....
If you're old enough to remember Ted McDougall then surely you can remember Ian Bishop?TTTCITYBHOY said:Think they're the top scoring side in British league football.

Went to the away game that season; early start, copious amounts of beer, late picking up a mate stationed at Middle Wallop, crappy pre game boozer, trip to Stonehenge, ghosts, dropping mate back at base for him to cause havoc, one poor fucker having to stay sober all day and drive... Oh and a one nil victoryMad Eyed Screamer said:Still get shudders thinking about the Bournemouth home game in 89..... Since when was Blackpool a nice area of the country? It's the armpit of the North West. :DSambaStyle said:Should they come up. Small club, small ground.. Nice area of the country and play great attacking football. Scored way more than the next best in the league.

Nice sunny day. Party atmosphere at half time. Game won and all that. The rest is history!

Can't believe it took til the 3rd page for this to get a mention. Anyway, I've forgiven Bishop so will forgive Bournemouth as well...it didn't work out too bad for us in the end.
