Think they're the top scoring side in British league football.
Good on them, the only Bournemouth player I remember is....spits...Ted McDougall...rag fuk.
If you're old enough to remember Ted McDougall then surely you can remember Ian Bishop?

But Millwall have been in the PL.
Oh shit, sorry. I forgot football started in 1992.

Football didn't start in 1992, but the Premier League most certainly did. If we're talking the old first division then Huddersfield actually won it, 3 years on the bounce at one point. Brighton were a top flight side in the early 1980's I believe, and Brentford spent time in the first division in the 1930's. Millwall have only ever spent 2 seasons in the top division, in the late 1980's. Bournemouth and Rotherham have never played top flight football, in fact Bournemouth's rise to, potentially, the Premier League, would be a remarkable one as they were very nearly relegated from the entire football league as recently as 2009!

Still get shudders thinking about the Bournemouth home game in 89..... Machin defending a 3 goal lead and conceding a 96th minute penalty for a 3-3 draw..... typical City....

Nice sunny day. Party atmosphere at half time. Game won and all that. The rest is history!

Went to the away game that season; early start, copious amounts of beer, late picking up a mate stationed at Middle Wallop, crappy pre game boozer, trip to Stonehenge, ghosts, dropping mate back at base for him to cause havoc, one poor fucker having to stay sober all day and drive... Oh and a one nil victory

Doesn't their ground only hold 12,000? Is that even allowed in the Premier League?

Yep, PL rules say you have to have a capacity of 15,000 minimum, although if you're expanding your ground to that size or bigger then it counts, even if the expansion is not complete at the start of the season.

Should they come up. Small club, small ground.. Nice area of the country and play great attacking football. Scored way more than the next best in the league.
Since when was Blackpool a nice area of the country? It's the armpit of the North West. :D

Whether they come up or not, I think Eddie Howe will be in the Premier League next season

Can't believe it took til the 3rd page for this to get a mention. Anyway, I've forgiven Bishop so will forgive Bournemouth as well...it didn't work out too bad for us in the end.

I blame the beachball that couldn't make it all around the ground as Bouremouth had 20 fans in the Platt lane.
