Yeah, the Irwell is behind those houses at the top of the street, glad I moved to Chorley, but saying that we've got our own flooding problems going on.

We're in Stoneclough in Radcliffe it was really bad here this morning! We live right on the Irwell it burst this morning and lots of people in ground floor flats were flooded and evacuated! It's gone back now! But the river is still very very high! Hopefully the rain will stop!!

That pub used to be the canteen for the mill you can see in the background. Me and my dad gutted the place for scrap in 82. Two loads a day for two weeks.
