Two boxers are in a boxing match (regular boxing, not kick boxing). The fight is scheduled for 12 rounds but ends after 6 rounds, after one
boxer knocks out the other boxer.

Yet no man throws a punch.

How is this possible?

Has to be this. The OP says "no man throws a punch". Wouldn't a normal (ie, a non-teaser) comment say "neither fighter threw a punch"?

It ends as a No Contest if neither of trying to fight, but it wiould ave ended a lot earlier than 6.

Also the boxer or corner can just pack in at any time to end it.
