Breaking records/stats thread

Surely 9 different goal scorers against the same club in one season is a record?

Foden
Grealish
KDB (x2)
Mahrez
Stones
Ake (x2)
Rodri
Jesus
Fernandinho

All scored against Leeds this season.

Now on our longest unbeaten run of away games in the PL (16 games). And Fern is our oldest scorer in the PL (37 on wednesday).
I love that Fernie is our oldest scorer. It was Lampard wasn’t it? He will always be associated primarily with Chelsea whereas, for me, Fernandinho is truly ours! Just my quirky nature. :-)

Is it a record for us in PL or an all league record?
Just for us. Off the top of my head, the Arsenal invincibles side in 2003/04 obviously went 19 consecutive away games unbeaten. And that's not counting whatever they managed at the back end of the previous campaign, or the start of the next.

Mental that thats the team that holds the record. As Fergie once said 'a lot of draws'.

Still mad given how shit they were.
It was a freakish run. Even if there were a lot of draws (and I can't remember the exact breakdown of that run), to go the equivalent of a season and a half without an away defeat defies logic, given the mediocrity of that squad.

Is it that we aren't sufficiently pragmatic enough to get the unbeaten records?
We simply try and win EVERY game sometimes to our own downfall. Good extended runs for us unbeaten stem from the same reason.
I think !

Ahh but that record , which was clearly only down to the players and their manager… did at least keep Ole in charge. So , among the few remaining records that united still hold, it’s worth it.
The thing about their away record was how journos used to say unbeaten for 18 months- not mentioning 4 / 5 months was lockdown with no games played
