I’m just praying that Rodders gets a rest, he’s the single most indispensable player imo.
Yes totally agree. It needs to be competitive but not overly physical. Chance of Brentford still have a slim shot at European football so, understanding our position, may go for it.
Would like to see a clean, competitive game where we try to drag them out and hit them on the break as that’s how United and Inter will play. May as well use it as a training game ready for the ones that really count.
Agree, and I want him in his best position in the following 2 games, not as a CB.I’m just praying that Rodders gets a rest, he’s the single most indispensable player imo.
Pep will bench him for the CL Final.I’m just praying that Rodders gets a rest, he’s the single most indispensable player imo.
Don’t think that’s an issue, he was only playing there because we left all the centre halves at home.Agree, and I want him in his best position in the following 2 games, not as a CB.
Don’t even joke about that!Pep will bench him for the CL Final.
Surley his turn for a complete weekend rest so shouldn’t even be in the squadI’m just praying that Rodders gets a rest, he’s the single most indispensable player imo.
Probably not, but it started against chelsea, so some worries about injuries I guess.Don’t think that’s an issue, he was only playing there because we left all the centre halves at home.

The way they took Spurs apart last week shows they are no push over.Hope we are prepared for the high ball missiles they launch into the box.
Be good to beat these after that home defeat before the World Cup break.
Bring Carson on for the last 10 minutes.
A good team,at least 25 minutes each for the A squad and rotation, rest and recovery for as many as possible if the game goes our way.Oh Pep in the interview had said that he will give 2 days off after Brentford to the players. In order to get disconnected, clear their minds etc.
I'm not sure I like this approach, I would have preferred 1 day off but he knows much better I guess :) He said from his experience this approach is better than training, training, training hard all the time.
I guess he trusts the players not to drink or eat garbage these 2 days, I just hope this is true :)
I just wanted 5 days of training before the final but it's ok this probably works too.
Let's hope Brentford game will be with a strong team (Ederson, Walker, Dias, Akanji/Ake, Stones, KDB, Gundogun, Rodri, Silva/Foden/Mahrez, Haaland, Grealish) and at 60' or so to start making the 5 substitutes, and no injuries to come and all players be fit for Wednesday to train hard these 3 days.
I hope players play around at their 80 % or so and not get their feet into fire of course, no need to get in danger of an injury but not to be playing lightly too. It should be in the perfect balance of spending enough energy and get into playing rhythm but not too much to risk anything.
Not arsed about the result here one bit, we could lose 3-0 and I wouldn't give two fucksThe way they took Spurs apart last week shows they are no push over.
That game was at the ground we have still to score at!
