Brewdog beer

A mate of mine in Barrow used to only drink Holsten Pils mixed with Barley wine. I tried it and had one of the worst hangovers ever!
Never See Holsten Pils any more; is it still available?
Yes, usually in four packs from corner shops. I'd take it over the likes of Carling / fosters anyday, cheap as chips and not bad well chilled

Nice refreshing drink and readily available at all the major supermarkets and normally pay £4 a pack of 440ml's which is fair game for the workmanship. I recently had to write to Holstein to remonstrate about them glueing the four cans together with a new rock hard gel substance which is really difficult to pull apart. Used a knife a few times with pitiful results as it just pierces the cans. There is nothing wrong with using the plastic straps like all the other non trendy companies use.

I find 99% of their stuff too fizzy and basically shite but somebody bought me some of their Mallow Laser Quest (pineapple and marshmallow hazy ale) and I loved it. I know it sounds wrong on every level but it tasted great!

Sadly there is ... if you use them, at least cut each before you bin them.
Some in US now produce actual edible ones for fish and birds.

Wasn't that Firkin that started the brewpub movement nationally until they were bought up and the lass and marble were brewing their own ales long before brewdog appeared
You’re partly correct. Firkin was a brewpub and was started iirc in the 80s and was rolled out nationally. Think Allied bought them out in the early 90’s.

Not sure what they did could be classified as craft beer though, although it’s a pretty nebulous undefinable term tbf.
