Born and brought up on it. Used to frequent the Crown and the Hare and Hounds on Long Street - both JWL houses though the Hares has sadly gone now

I’m deep in JWL country these days. It’s an alright pint, but prefer Robbies, Hydes and even Holts if it’s kept well.

Funny thing is Holts was a beer I just never got along with - Robinsons and Hydes are ok though

I was a cellar manager at a Holts house. When it’s good, it’s really good.

Sadly, it’s not that good very often.

They’ve got an app and deliver. They’re fairly local to me, but they are useful for bigger parties/BBQs.

I'm enjoying the Peter Crouch podcast and Brewdog doing a Lager and Stout mix for the podcast. Not out yet but I'd never heard of that was a drink before. Think they are calling it the Larout. Podcast is funny and worth a listen.
