Brian Kidd first team coach next season?

Platt is the first Team coach and Kidd is the assistant manager...unless you mean have Kidd replace Mancini in which case no.

With all the "top brass" above Mancini I do not see the position of manager actually exists , or it is in name only .

Yes the question is the based on how I see things , Brian Kidd to me ticks all the boxes .

The good old days of "managing" a club like City have long since gone , or have I got it wrong ?

The only boxes he ticks are those that say 'assistant' or 'coach'.

He tried to be a number 1 before and failed abjectly. It wasn't in his nature - too nice a guy by by all accounts.

Yes I understand that , Preston I think ? Or Blackburn ?

But as the first team coach , only a thought .

But that's what he does already. He's on the training ground coaching the first team.

Not sure of your point.

I think he wouldn't want to handle the shit the managers have had from the likes of Bellers, Adebayor et al!

O.K. I understand better know , perhaps I was too impressed by his press conference last week .
To me Brian seemed to be the only one talking sense last week .
Again only a thought , I will go back to sleep know !!

I don't understand why you would want to do that. I am sure BK is perfectly happy in the role that he is doing now. If it isn't broke then don't try and fix it!

It should be Mourinho. If they knocked out his teeth, there would be no need for the train.
Grief the old Allison quote!! Allison for England Coach - they are going to take out all his teeth and put eats in. Takes me back that one. Kiddo by the way is in the right place now. Nothing needs changing!

When you sack the manager its usually a given you will replace all of his appointments at the time or shortly afterwards.

I am sure Platt and Kidd along with all the other management staff will be gone by the summer.

I am surprised Platt hasn't been sacked already.

Yes of coarse my comment above was "tongue in check" . Your comment correct about Platt in view of the circumstances .

You only have to look at the photo showing Platt,s face looking at Roberto after the Final , Final , Final whistle !!

Particularly, Platt he annoys me. Why does it take him so long to brief players before coming on as sub? It's not rocket science and football players are simple, tell them where you want them and where to play the ball, simple!!
