Not being funny but I hardly think going on the piss in Miami is the best thing to be doing at this stage of the season when the race for fourth is so tight...

We have a big advantage over Spurs, Villa and Liverpool with this break between the Chelsea game and our trip to Sunderland... I would have expected Mancini to set a more intensive training schedule focusing on tactics and set pieces. He seems to have only just hit on his preferred back 4 so one would have thought he'd want to use this time to find his best midfield to link with our attack.

I appreciate that players could benefit from a rest this past weekend but flying halfway around the world and getting pissed is not the kind of rest they need. These guys are professionals - if I have a big meeting at work I don't get pissed the night before... I make sure I'm prepared so that I don't let my team down... At 70-100k a week you'd expect these players to do the same.

Rant over... (dons tin hat)

I don't have a problem with this story, I will make a judgement on their piss up after our next game.

I'm sure it will do them good to have a break.

They do. Their next game isn't until Sunday and I'd imagine they're back in England now. These photos were probably taken last week and have only just surfaced.

I'd be amazed if Mancini let them stay on holiday til now when they've been off ever since the Chelsea game.

It will do Bridge abit of good to get away from it all with a couple of mates!! (pun intended!)

Cant see how Wrighty can afford it though listening to his dad!!

Is Weiss there?? Coz he doesnt seem to be at Bolton!!

If we win on sunday it will have been a good move by the maneger, to give the players a couple of days off, if we lose though.......................

Just what the Doctor ordered. A bit of sun and a few foreign trollops at the hotel disco.
They will come back back raring to go.

To be fair to them Mancini wasnt in the country either last week or this weekend, not like he could have gone through anything with them. Its a close run in with a lot of pressure, good idea to get them away from everything and relax in my opinion
