As evident from the news article below, Wayne Bridge is now a City player with personal terms having been agreed earlier. Do you think he will play next weekend? I dread to think how much we paid. Better to keep it quiet in my view.

Meant to be around £10-12 mill I hope he plays Michael Balls not a great player

i hope he plays because ive gt my ticket and would like to see a few players that day everyone knows weve got money so were gunna have to accept were gunna get dry bummed for sum players aint we by payin over the odds the other side had to with carrick and its gunna be the same for us

I'd be really happy with the signing of Bridge, I've heard others say he's not a great player but i disagree.

I don't think he's the best in the world by any stretch but i think he's just what we need. He is a good player, he's English (so there's no messing about with language and he knows SWP, Richards, Hart etc) so unlike some world star he should fit i pretty quick and won't take too long to aclimatise. Plus he's used to the English game and the Premiership.

I personally hope he starts.

I would think if the transfer is tied up before Monday and he trains all week then yes, however, doesn't he have "a slight knock" that was keeping him out of the Southend game tomorrow?

Don't all of our transfer targets?

Bridge is carrying a bit of an injury isn't he? Probably more realistic for the game after Pompey.
